Application form of river aeration technology

According to the requirements for improving the water quality of the river to be aerated (such as eliminating black odor, improving water quality, restoring ecology, etc.), the river conditions (including water depth, flow velocity, river section shape, surrounding environmental conditions, etc.), the river functional requirements (such as shipping function, landscape function, etc.), and the characteristics of pollution sources (such as long-term pollution load, impact pollution load, etc.), the river aeration and reoxygenation generally adopts two forms: fixed oxygen charging station and mobile oxygen charging platform.

1. Fixed oxygen charging station

1.1 blast aeration

That is, a fixed blower room is set on the river bank to introduce air or oxygen into the aeration diffusion system set at the bottom of the river channel through pipes, so as to increase dissolved oxygen in the water. This aeration form is generally composed of a machine room (built-in blower), an air diffuser and related pipes. At present, the commonly used blowers include submerged blowers, roots blowers, and Lu's blowers.

1.2 pure oxygen aeration

The oxygen source of the pure oxygen aeration system can be liquid oxygen (LOX) or oxygen production equipment (PSA). There are two forms: ① pure oxygen microporous gas distribution equipment aeration system (composed of oxygen source and microporous gas distribution pipe); ② Pure oxygen mixed flow oxygenation system (composed of oxygen source, water pump, mixer and ejector).

1.3. Mechanical aeration

The mechanical aeration equipment (mostly of pontoon type structure) is directly fixed and installed in the river channel to aerate the water body to increase the dissolved oxygen in the water body. There are also two forms: ① impeller suction push flow aerator; ② Underwater jet aerator.

2. Mobile oxygenation platform

That is, the aeration and oxygenation facilities that do not affect the navigation function of the river channel and can move freely are set on the river sections that need aeration and oxygenation. Aerators are widely reported in foreign countries, which are mainly used for purposeful reoxygenation of local river sections in case of emergency. Aerators can be refitted from ferries and usually use liquid oxygen as the oxygen source.
