Key points of micropore aeration technology in aquaculture pond

Microporous aeration and oxygenation technology is a new technology that uses roots blower to rapidly oxygenate the bottom and surrounding waters of aquaculture water area through microporous pipes. It has the characteristics of wide oxygen increasing area, uniform dissolved oxygen distribution, accelerating the oxidation of ammonia nitrogen, nitrite and hydrogen sulfide at the bottom, and inhibiting the growth of harmful microorganisms at the bottom. Many years of practice have proved that this technology can reduce the incidence rate of fish, eels and turtles cultured in ponds by 15%, increase the fish yield per mu by 10%, and increase the comprehensive benefit by 20% ~ 60%. Compared with the traditional aerator, microporous aeration can save 30% of electricity.


1、 Pond requirements


The farm shall be equipped with corresponding power facilities or matching power equipment. The area of domestic fish pond should be 4.5 Mu ~ 30 mu, square or rectangular (length width ratio 2:1), with a water depth of 1.5 m ~ 2.5 m and a flat bottom.


2、 Equipment requirements


The equipment includes blower, power facilities (motor or diesel engine), galvanized steel pipe, microporous pipe or plastic (PVC) pipe, valve timing switch, etc., and shall be equipped with water quality detection instrument.


1. Blower. Roots blower should be selected. The quality of Roots blower shall meet the technical requirements for environmental protection products (HJ / t225-2006), and the outlet air pressure shall not be less than 3500 ~ 5000 mm water column.


2. Pipeline. The main pipe is galvanized steel pipe or PVC pipe. The diameter of the main pipe matches the outlet diameter of the blower, generally 75mm ~ 100mm. The inflatable pipe shall be micro hollow pipe or PVC pipe, and the diameter of the inflatable pipe shall be 10mm ~ 15mm.


Comparison of oxygen increasing effect between microporous aeration pipe and PVC pipe: according to the night test results, the do added value of microporous aeration pipe and PVC pipe group is 1.53 mg / L and 1.18 mg / L respectively on the surface layer, and 1.58 mg / L and 1.26 mg / L respectively on the bottom layer; According to the daytime test results, the bottom dissolved oxygen of the microporous aeration pipe group was 7.77 mg / L, and that of the PVC group was 6.11 mg / L. The microporous aeration pipe group was slightly higher than the PVC group. The microporous aeration pipe and PVC pipe are used as the aeration pipe. In consideration of saving investment, convenient use and durability, it is more economical and practical to select PVC pipe as the bottom aeration aeration pipe for productive aquaculture in ordinary waters.


3. Power configuration. The combination of microporous pipeline and water wheel type is the best form of oxygen increase. The power configuration of the microporous aeration aerator is related to the water level of the pond, the water environment, the density of the farmed animals, the oxygen demand of the farmed animals and other factors. The power of the blower is 0.30 kW / mu, and the power of the water tanker type aerator is 0.15 kW / mu, which can meet the minimum requirement of dissolved oxygen in the aquaculture pond.


3、 Equipment pipeline installation


1. Blower installation. The air distribution device shall be installed at the air outlet of the blower or the exhaust valve shall be installed on the main pipe near the blower.


2. Pipeline installation requirements.


① An air bag or an exhaust valve is installed at the air outlet of the blower. The air can be inflated by means of centralized air supply or by separate tanks, in the form of single tank or multiple tanks in parallel.


② The main pipe is buried in the soil. The main pipe is galvanized steel pipe or plastic material (PVC) pipe. The diameter of the main pipe is 100mm, and the diameter of the inflation pipe is 25mm. The main pipe and the inflation pipe are controlled by valves to facilitate the adjustment of gas volume.


③ The inflatable pipes are mainly arranged on one side or in "non" shape. According to the comparison results of dissolved oxygen detection values at different intervals between the gas filling pipes, the difference in dissolved oxygen values between the gas filling pipes and the two pipes in the horizontal direction is very small. The "water layer difference" of dissolved oxygen between the surface layer and the bottom layer of the water body between the gas filling pipes and the pipes is 0.04 mg / L ~ 0.47 mg / L. In the water area with high breeding density and rare varieties, PVC pipes are used as aeration pipes in the breeding pond. The pipe spacing is 4m ~ 6m, the air hole spacing is 1m, and the aperture is 0.4mm ~ 0.6mm. The pipe spacing of the microporous pipe as the inflation pipe is 6m. The PVC pipe is laid at the bottom of the tank, and the microporous pipe is 10cm away from the bottom of the tank and fixed with piles.


④ The installation height of the aeration pipe shall be as consistent as possible. For the pond with ditch at the bottom, the pipeline laying on the beach surface and ditch shall be installed separately, and the valve shall be separately controlled.


4、 Usage:


1. Installation time. The installation of oxygen increasing facilities shall be completed 15-20 days before the start of aquaculture production.


2. Opening time. Domestic fish  ponds are generally used in high-temperature seasons. They are opened at noon on sunny days and at night on cloudy days or when the air pressure is low; In case of typhoon, rainstorm and other special weather, the microporous aerator and the water tanker type aerator shall be started at the same time, and the start time of the aerator shall be extended according to the water quality of the pond.


5、 Precautions:


1. Maintain good water quality of the pond. Master the proper density of algae, and use fishery medicine carefully to prevent algae death. The transparency of pond water shall be controlled within 20cm ~ 30cm, and the algae shall be kept fresh and tender. Correctly master the water quality control technology, do not use the algal remover in the high temperature season, and be careful to prevent a large number of algae in the pool from dying and decaying.


2. Prevent the motor from heating. Pay attention to whether the air pressure of the blower meets the requirements and whether the air outlet of the inflation pipe matches the air volume of the blower.


3. Prevent PVC pipes from being damaged. During the installation of PVC main pipes, the pipes shall be buried in the soil to avoid aging by exposure to the sun; The microporous inflatable pipe shall not be pulled or folded to prevent the pipe from being broken and leaking. After using for a period of time, the air hole is easy to be blocked. It is best to use it after drying in the sun for a while.


4. Try to cooperate with the use of water wheel type aerator. One of the important points of the microporous aeration technology is that it should be used with the water wheel type aerator to make the dissolved oxygen in the aquaculture water body uniform.


5. Check frequently. Regularly check whether the oxygen increasing facilities are in good condition, and timely repair the problems found.


6. As appropriate. In high-density aquaculture waters, the microporous aerator should be started for a long time.
