Technology of aeration and flood prevention pool for organic aquatic products in summer

In the high-temperature period in summer, the low-pressure weather increases gradually. It is particularly important to scientifically start the aerator for timely and effective oxygenation in the daily process of organic aquaculture. The details of aeration and flood prevention pool technology for organic aquaculture are as follows:


1、 The aerator shall be used scientifically, specifically "three on" and "two off".


(1). It opens at noon on a sunny day. More than 85% of the dissolved oxygen in the water body comes from photosynthesis. At noon, photosynthesis is the strongest. The dissolved oxygen on the water surface has been oversaturated, and the water temperature is also the highest. At this time, turning on the aerator can break the upper and lower stratification of the water body, and deliver the high dissolved oxygen on the water surface to the bottom of the pool, so as to maintain sufficient dissolved oxygen in the bottom layer.


(2). It opens in the morning on a cloudy day. After one night's consumption, dissolved oxygen reaches the lowest value before and after dawn. If photosynthesis is not strong on cloudy days, the aerator must be turned on in the morning, otherwise it is very easy to cause floating head, which will bring adverse effects to breeding production.


(3). It rained in the middle of the night. In continuous rainy days, photosynthesis is weak, oxygen production is reduced, and the source of dissolved oxygen mainly depends on mechanical oxygenation. It must be turned on for a long time to directly improve the low peak value of dissolved oxygen, so as to prevent and rescue fish and shrimp floating heads. Generally, it is turned on at midnight, and it can not be shut down until the photosynthesis has sufficient dissolved oxygen after sunrise.


(4). It doesn't open on a sunny evening. Because the photosynthesis of phytoplankton in the water surface layer has stopped in the evening, phytoplankton not only do not release oxygen through photosynthesis, but also breathe and consume oxygen. At this time, the start-up makes the upper and lower water layers convection in advance, but brings the dissolved oxygen at the bottom of the pool to the surface of the pool and is consumed by phytoplankton. Therefore, the start-up at this time is likely to cause oxygen consumption and floating head, and the start-up has a negative effect.


(5). Do not start the machine when the fish do not float at noon in rainy days. In cloudy and rainy days, phytoplankton have weak photosynthesis, low oxygen generation capacity and insufficient dissolved oxygen in the pool water, which is easy to cause floating heads. At this time, the mechanical oxygenation function of the aerator must be brought into full play. The aerator should be started up early at night to oxygenate in time, directly improve the dissolved oxygen in the pool water, and achieve the purpose of preventing and rescuing fish floating heads. Avoid starting the machine at noon on rainy days. At this time, the startup not only can not enhance the dissolved oxygen in the lower water, but also reduces the oxygen generating function of the upper phytoplankton, increases the oxygen consuming layer in the pond, accelerates the oxygen consumption rate in the lower layer, and is very likely to cause fish floating.


2、 Select the aerator suitable for the pond mouth. Microporous tube aerator is suitable for shrimp and crab ponds; Jet aerator is suitable for deep-water ponds with high breeding density; Water wheel type and water spray type aerators are suitable for small ponds with shallow water; The impeller aerator has a very good effect on water with a depth of 2~3 meters. At present, more than 80% of the aquaculture households in our city use impeller aerators. Qualified farmers can also use the dissolved oxygen meter with the aerator to monitor the change of dissolved oxygen in water quality throughout the period and increase oxygen in time.




3、 The oxygenation equipment and lines shall be maintained frequently. In summer, the consumption of aerators is increased. In addition, the high temperature weather leads to high mechanical line load, which leads to great hidden dangers in production safety. Therefore, it is necessary to use sunny weather to carry out comprehensive maintenance on the oxygenation equipment and lines to ensure that everything is safe.




4、 Every aquaculture farmer must reserve 1-2 times of oxygen enhancer on hand. It can purchase oxygen enhancer, granular oxygen, etc. for emergency storage, so as to quickly supplement dissolved oxygen in the water in case of failure of the oxygen enhancer or power failure, or it can be used together with the delayed start of the oxygen enhancer and the occurrence of serious floating head. Pay attention to store the oxygen enhancer in a dark place to prevent premature failure.
